Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super present car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge pain that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After aggravating 2-3 oscillate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. help to the dealer.. this time he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common pain as soon as this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS infatuation to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on all similar parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 every times I acknowledge it complete the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are in reality calculation up. I m in two minds to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. considering I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs rough and at 850ish. I can and no-one else guess that my extra rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the every other of rpm though? I think it on your own adjusts it in this area 1k..
Hello the TPS does have an effect on switching the car into idle mode so I'd recommend to make certain the throttle dish is 100% closed and not slightly high and dry in the same way as carbon. and then familiarize the TPS fittingly that the IDL fasten is continuous to the E2 fix once the throttle is closed, and gain access to circuit taking into account the throttle is just cracked. Don't badly affect just about any voltages, the IDL get into is the in reality important one.
