I have a 2004 ES330 in the same way as a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but behind I go vis--vis turns upon onto highway ramps, once I depress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds in the past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon in the manner of the similar engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights direction on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried fittingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. behind I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant roughly speaking 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model in view of that it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I consent the TPS is integrated later the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know since I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the let breathe flow meter and said it was good. afterward I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs harsh and at 850ish. I can single-handedly guess that my other rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the substitute of rpm though? I think it lonely adjusts it with reference to 1k..
