I have a 2004 ES330 subsequently a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but subsequently I go not far off from turns on onto highway ramps, later I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon once the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. considering I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant almost 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model in view of that it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I allow the TPS is integrated considering the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you want the mechanic to know in the past I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. in the same way as I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs scratchy and at 850ish. I can solitary guess that my other rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much govern in the exchange of rpm though? I think it deserted adjusts it roughly 1k..
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. when the MAF is plugged in after that the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is along with an intermittent popping sound coming at idle.
