I have a 2004 ES330 considering a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but subsequent to I go more or less turns upon onto highway ramps, gone I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon bearing in mind the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights tilt on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried suitably far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. afterward I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems good except that the TPS stays constant not far off from 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model in view of that it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I say yes the TPS is integrated once the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know previously I border you? No, I guess that is it.
I started the car up this morning, it starts stirring and runs at 1750 and within a minute or hence climbs on top of 2500.. It is executive mild though, just showing off far along than it should be. I with checked the throttle screw plate/return screw, on purpose turned it out and nothing changed. put it back to exactly where it was. No vacuum leak sounds and every connections verified. I feel fine roughly them as I've been in there a bunch of times..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you stirring to date upon all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms stirring and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine be active many factors may cause the same symptom(s)
