I have a 2004 ES330 bearing in mind a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but once I go regarding turns upon onto highway ramps, gone I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon taking into consideration the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried in view of that far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. with I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant regarding 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model suitably it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I assume the TPS is integrated later the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you desire the mechanic to know since I border you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the let breathe flow meter and said it was good. with I unplug it and govern the motor, the car runs brusque and at 850ish. I can unaccompanied guess that my extra rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much control in the different of rpm though? I think it lonely adjusts it approximately 1k..
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. following the MAF is plugged in next the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is with an intermittent popping hermetically sealed coming at idle.
