Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make public car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge hardship that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After maddening 2-3 vary used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. put up to to the dealer.. this grow old he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common difficulty taking into consideration this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS need to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon every partnered parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 every grow old I tolerate it realize the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in reality supplement up. I m unsure to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started rudely after I got it home.Any supplementary assist you can give is appreciated. I don't know what else to reach but undertake it encourage to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman vigorous on it at the dealer, but I nevertheless environment its pushed to the help as its old-fashioned and everyone loses in this situation.
Hello the TPS does have an effect on switching the car into idle mode therefore I'd recommend to make certain the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly stranded in imitation of carbon. and later become accustomed the TPS thus that the IDL fasten is continuous to the E2 fasten when the throttle is closed, and approach circuit in the same way as the throttle is just cracked. Don't worry not quite any voltages, the IDL admittance is the in reality important one.
