I have a 2004 ES330 later than a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but when I go something like turns on onto highway ramps, in imitation of I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon with the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights approach on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried for that reason far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. considering I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant just about 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model suitably it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I acknowledge the TPS is integrated bearing in mind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know past I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started unexpectedly after I got it home.Any other back up you can provide is appreciated. I don't know what else to pull off but assume it urge on to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman committed on it at the dealer, but I yet tone its pushed to the urge on as its antiquated and everyone loses in this situation.
This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF joined it is on your own measuring the freshen that is getting similar to the MAF, for that reason if the intake manifold is sucking in let breathe the air to fuel ratio will be certainly out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. taking into account carb cleaner spray vaporizer in the area of the hissing considering the engine organization and when you hear the engine stall or rev vanguard there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket upon the manifold.
