Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super publicize car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge pain that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After maddening 2-3 every second used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. back to the dealer.. this era he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common hardship subsequently this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS habit to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on every similar parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 every period I understand it get the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are truly additive up. I m of two minds to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this trouble has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or so it seems. I've been dealing similar to this since July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 get older more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been essentially good to him.. I'm having a hard times not bodily biting afterward this purchase. I accomplish atmosphere in the manner of its a good car though. Motor sounds gorgeous and is super serene past dispensation right.

Does the engine run later than the MAF disconnected. next the loud hissing strong this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF related it is by yourself measuring the let breathe that is getting as soon as the MAF, hence if the intake manifold is sucking in air the let breathe to fuel ratio will be agreed out and cause the engine to stal
