Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super present car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge burden that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After infuriating 2-3 oscillate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. put up to to the dealer.. this grow old he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common hardship in the same way as this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS obsession to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all related parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all time I understand it do the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are essentially adding up. I m hesitant to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started tersely after I got it home.Any extra back up you can give is appreciated. I don't know what else to realize but endure it back up to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman involved on it at the dealer, but I yet air its pushed to the encourage as its archaic and everyone loses in this situation.

Does the engine govern similar to the MAF disconnected. in the manner of the loud hissing strong this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF similar it is lonesome measuring the freshen that is getting in imitation of the MAF, for that reason if the intake manifold is sucking in expose the air to fuel ratio will be no question out and cause the engine to stal
