This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any expose dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and so not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can plus allow the engine to rev in the works in the manner of not desired causing gruff running. As its a mechanical malfunction it tends not to tilt upon the defect lighthearted and you can sometimes listen a hissing noise in the manner of the engine running.
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started gruffly after I got it home.Any extra incite you can present is appreciated. considering I start the car, the engine surges going on with 1200 and 2000 rpm support and forth. I misrepresented the IAC and the TPS afterward no tweak in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to acclimatize the idle readiness screw to demean the rpm and it would preserve for a while. Now, the engine is forever surging to the narrowing where I cannot drive it for anxiety of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
