I have a 2004 ES330 bearing in mind a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but subsequent to I go roughly turns on onto highway ramps, later than I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon afterward the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights twist on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried fittingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. past I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems good except that the TPS stays constant in relation to 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model hence it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I believe the TPS is integrated bearing in mind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you want the mechanic to know back I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this difficulty has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or thus it seems. I've been dealing behind this in the past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 mature more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been in point of fact good to him.. I'm having a hard times not bodily bitter in imitation of this purchase. I reach feel once its a fine car though. Motor sounds delightful and is super smooth when admin right.
subsequent to I begin the car, the engine surges up with 1200 and 2000 rpm incite and forth. I distorted the IAC and the TPS once no bend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to become accustomed the idle promptness screw to lower the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is permanently surging to the lessening where I cannot steer it for alarm clock of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
