I have a 2004 ES330 subsequent to a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but taking into consideration I go in relation to turns on onto highway ramps, like I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon behind the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried therefore far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. next I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant nearly 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model appropriately it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I take on the TPS is integrated bearing in mind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know before I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me tell you a little more practically the pain history. It currently has a master tech qualified idle let breathe direct valve and tps installed. without moving anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would run in the car without this symptom.
in the same way as I begin the car, the engine surges taking place in the company of 1200 and 2000 rpm back and forth. I misused the IAC and the TPS afterward no bend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to get used to the idle enthusiasm screw to demean the rpm and it would retain for a while. Now, the engine is forever surging to the point where I cannot drive it for agitation of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
