I have a 2004 ES330 considering a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but like I go more or less turns upon onto highway ramps, like I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon when the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights viewpoint on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried thus far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. in the same way as I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems good except that the TPS stays constant with reference to 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model therefore it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I allow the TPS is integrated taking into consideration the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you desire the mechanic to know previously I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the freshen flow meter and said it was good. as soon as I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs argumentative and at 850ish. I can abandoned guess that my extra rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the oscillate of rpm though? I think it by yourself adjusts it roughly speaking 1k..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you occurring to date upon all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms happening and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine work many factors may cause the similar symptom(s)
