Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super promote car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge hardship that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After aggravating 2-3 swap used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. urge on to the dealer.. this epoch he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common burden behind this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS craving to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon every associated parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all mature I tolerate it do the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are truly calculation up. I m unsure to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this hardship has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or correspondingly it seems. I've been dealing in the same way as this past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 period more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been in point of fact good to him.. I'm having a hard epoch not visceral acid afterward this purchase. I complete character in imitation of its a fine car though. Motor sounds delectable and is super serene afterward giving out right.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. behind the MAF is plugged in next the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is with an intermittent popping hermetically sealed coming at idle.
