I have a 2004 ES330 afterward a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but with I go something like turns on onto highway ramps, in imitation of I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon as soon as the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights point of view on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried consequently far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. taking into account I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems good except that the TPS stays constant not far off from 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model hence it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I recognize the TPS is integrated once the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know previously I border you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the freshen flow meter and said it was good. with I unplug it and control the motor, the car runs prickly and at 850ish. I can only guess that my additional rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much govern in the stand-in of rpm though? I think it only adjusts it all but 1k..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you taking place to date on every maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms occurring and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine comport yourself many factors may cause the thesame symptom(s)
