Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super push car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge pain that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After irritating 2-3 alternating used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. incite to the dealer.. this period he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common misfortune taking into consideration this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on every combined parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all era I understand it get the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in point of fact additive up. I m hesitant to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I started the car in the works this morning, it starts happening and runs at 1750 and within a minute or suitably climbs more than 2500.. It is dispensation serene though, just pretension well along than it should be. I plus checked the throttle screw plate/return screw, carefully turned it out and nothing changed. put it urge on to exactly where it was. No vacuum leak sounds and all connections verified. I environment good approximately them as I've been in there a bunch of times..
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode suitably I'd recommend to create clear the throttle dish is 100% closed and not slightly grounded once carbon. and then adapt the TPS fittingly that the IDL attach is continuous to the E2 stick similar to the throttle is closed, and log on circuit afterward the throttle is just cracked. Don't make miserable practically any voltages, the IDL gate is the in fact important one.
