I have a 2004 ES330 subsequent to a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but in the same way as I go regarding turns upon onto highway ramps, next I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon considering the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried thus far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. taking into consideration I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant roughly speaking 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model fittingly it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I take the TPS is integrated past the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know in the past I link up you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the freshen flow meter and said it was good. afterward I unplug it and rule the motor, the car runs sharp and at 850ish. I can deserted guess that my other rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much manage in the different of rpm though? I think it without help adjusts it re 1k..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you in the works to date on every maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms occurring and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine feign many factors may cause the similar symptom(s)
