I have a 2004 ES330 gone a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but in imitation of I go around turns on onto highway ramps, following I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon like the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights aim on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried suitably far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. subsequently I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems good except that the TPS stays constant around 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model therefore it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I take on the TPS is integrated taking into account the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you want the mechanic to know back I be next to you? No, I guess that is it.
I started the car happening this morning, it starts taking place and runs at 1750 and within a minute or as a result climbs more than 2500.. It is management smooth though, just way far ahead than it should be. I furthermore checked the throttle screw plate/return screw, carefully turned it out and nothing changed. put it assist to exactly where it was. No vacuum leak sounds and every contacts verified. I character fine about them as I've been in there a bunch of times..
subsequently I begin the car, the engine surges up between 1200 and 2000 rpm help and forth. I misused the IAC and the TPS gone no alter in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to acclimatize the idle speed screw to demean the rpm and it would sustain for a while. Now, the engine is forever surging to the narrowing where I cannot steer it for distress of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
