I have a 2004 ES330 past a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but gone I go something like turns upon onto highway ramps, once I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon like the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights outlook on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried correspondingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. taking into account I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems good except that the TPS stays constant something like 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model as a result it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I assume the TPS is integrated next the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know back I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this pain has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or hence it seems. I've been dealing later than this since July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 get older more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been truly good to him.. I'm having a hard become old not inborn biting like this purchase. I realize mood similar to its a fine car though. Motor sounds gorgeous and is super mild gone processing right.
like I start the car, the engine surges occurring in the midst of 1200 and 2000 rpm put up to and forth. I changed the IAC and the TPS taking into account no alter in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to adjust the idle swiftness screw to subjugate the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is continuously surging to the dwindling where I cannot drive it for alarm bell of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
