I have a 2004 ES330 in the manner of a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but later I go re turns on onto highway ramps, with I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon bearing in mind the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried appropriately far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. taking into account I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems good except that the TPS stays constant just about 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I receive the TPS is integrated gone the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you desire the mechanic to know past I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me say you a tiny more roughly the trouble history. It currently has a master tech endorsed idle freshen run valve and tps installed. without disturbing anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would manage in the car without this symptom.
afterward I begin the car, the engine surges going on between 1200 and 2000 rpm back up and forth. I distorted the IAC and the TPS later than no alter in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to get used to the idle quickness screw to lower the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is at all times surging to the lessening where I cannot steer it for distress of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
