I have a 2004 ES330 like a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but following I go nearly turns upon onto highway ramps, taking into account I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds since reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon following the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slope on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried fittingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. next I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant something like 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model correspondingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I acknowledge the TPS is integrated behind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you desire the mechanic to know past I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. in the manner of I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs harsh and at 850ish. I can only guess that my new rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much rule in the rotate of rpm though? I think it deserted adjusts it concerning 1k..
