I have a 2004 ES330 as soon as a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but bearing in mind I go a propos turns upon onto highway ramps, subsequent to I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon like the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slope on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. as soon as I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant not far off from 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model correspondingly it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I consent the TPS is integrated next the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know before I attach you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. subsequently I unplug it and direct the motor, the car runs prickly and at 850ish. I can only guess that my additional rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much direct in the rotate of rpm though? I think it on your own adjusts it just about 1k..
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. in imitation of the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is in addition to an intermittent popping sealed coming at idle.
