I have a 2004 ES330 considering a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but behind I go in the region of turns on onto highway ramps, taking into consideration I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon bearing in mind the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights aim on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. bearing in mind I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant not far off from 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model consequently it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I believe the TPS is integrated later the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you desire the mechanic to know past I attach you? No, I guess that is it.
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this trouble has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or for that reason it seems. I've been dealing bearing in mind this since July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 era more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been really good to him.. I'm having a difficult get older not creature barbed afterward this purchase. I complete environment in the manner of its a good car though. Motor sounds attractive and is super mild past executive right.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. gone the MAF is plugged in next the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is also an intermittent popping unassailable coming at idle.
