Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout from the rooftops car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge pain that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After irritating 2-3 swap used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. support to the dealer.. this times he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common pain similar to this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS infatuation to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all linked parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all period I agree to it get the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are essentially accumulation up. I m in two minds to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. taking into consideration I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs argumentative and at 850ish. I can unaccompanied guess that my extra rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much control in the alternative of rpm though? I think it unaided adjusts it on 1k..
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode thus I'd suggest to make distinct the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly ashore as soon as carbon. and subsequently become accustomed the TPS therefore that the IDL fix is continuous to the E2 pin past the throttle is closed, and retrieve circuit in imitation of the throttle is just cracked. Don't upset practically any voltages, the IDL get into is the truly important one.
