I have a 2004 ES330 in imitation of a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but subsequently I go roughly speaking turns upon onto highway ramps, following I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon with the similar engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights approach on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried therefore far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. once I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant in the region of 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model fittingly it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I resign yourself to the TPS is integrated later than the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know before I link up you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the expose flow meter and said it was good. in the same way as I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs harsh and at 850ish. I can solitary guess that my new rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much govern in the rotate of rpm though? I think it lonely adjusts it approximately 1k..
I'm reviewing your ask now, and will read out urge on past your answer ASAP. Rgds Greg. What aberration codes do you have. Does the engine direct when the MAF disconnected. past the noisy hissing strong this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF associated it is lonesome measuring the expose that is getting considering the MAF, in view of that if the intake manifold is sucking in air the let breathe to fuel ratio will be utterly out and cause the engine to stal
