I have a 2004 ES330 as soon as a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but once I go all but turns upon onto highway ramps, in the same way as I depress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon once the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights outlook on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried therefore far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. once I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant more or less 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model thus it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I acknowledge the TPS is integrated as soon as the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know in the past I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the air flow meter and said it was good. taking into consideration I unplug it and direct the motor, the car runs aggressive and at 850ish. I can lonely guess that my extra rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much rule in the exchange of rpm though? I think it abandoned adjusts it nearly 1k..
