I have a 2004 ES330 next a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but once I go approaching turns upon onto highway ramps, bearing in mind I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon taking into consideration the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights point of view on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried in view of that far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. considering I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant as regards 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model thus it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I say yes the TPS is integrated in imitation of the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know past I attach you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the let breathe flow meter and said it was good. once I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs rough and at 850ish. I can isolated guess that my further rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the vary of rpm though? I think it and no-one else adjusts it something like 1k..
Hello the TPS does have an effect on switching the car into idle mode therefore I'd recommend to make clear the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly beached considering carbon. and subsequently accustom yourself the TPS for that reason that the IDL fasten is continuous to the E2 glue behind the throttle is closed, and admittance circuit when the throttle is just cracked. Don't distress roughly any voltages, the IDL approach is the in fact important one.
