I have a 2004 ES330 taking into consideration a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but gone I go nearly turns on onto highway ramps, as soon as I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon subsequent to the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights position on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. following I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems good except that the TPS stays constant around 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model correspondingly it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I acknowledge the TPS is integrated when the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you desire the mechanic to know past I link up you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the expose flow meter and said it was good. gone I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs gruff and at 850ish. I can only guess that my other rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the swing of rpm though? I think it by yourself adjusts it in this area 1k..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you up to date on every maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms happening and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine enactment many factors may cause the thesame symptom(s)
