I have a 2004 ES330 gone a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but gone I go with reference to turns upon onto highway ramps, when I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds since reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon with the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights tilt on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried in view of that far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. taking into account I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant concerning 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model appropriately it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I acknowledge the TPS is integrated like the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know back I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the let breathe flow meter and said it was good. later I unplug it and govern the motor, the car runs brusque and at 850ish. I can forlorn guess that my further rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much manage in the every second of rpm though? I think it single-handedly adjusts it roughly 1k..
This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF combined it is unaccompanied measuring the let breathe that is getting like the MAF, hence if the intake manifold is sucking in ventilate the air to fuel ratio will be completely out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. behind carb cleaner spray spray in the area of the hissing later the engine management and with you listen the engine stall or rev progressive there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket on the manifold.
