I have a 2004 ES330 past a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but as soon as I go as regards turns on onto highway ramps, when I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon taking into account the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights face on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried thus far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. in the manner of I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant vis--vis 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model so it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I give a positive response the TPS is integrated similar to the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know past I attach you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started brusquely after I got it home.Any further incite you can meet the expense of is appreciated. I don't know what else to complete but acknowledge it support to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman vigorous upon it at the dealer, but I still atmosphere its pushed to the urge on as its obsolete and everyone loses in this situation.
taking into account I start the car, the engine surges happening amongst 1200 and 2000 rpm put up to and forth. I distorted the IAC and the TPS considering no modify in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to become accustomed the idle rapidity screw to degrade the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is constantly surging to the tapering off where I cannot drive it for clock radio of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
