I have a 2004 ES330 subsequent to a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but gone I go more or less turns on onto highway ramps, subsequently I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds since reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon past the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights face on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried consequently far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. gone I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant approaching 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model hence it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I acknowledge the TPS is integrated considering the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know since I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the freshen flow meter and said it was good. taking into account I unplug it and govern the motor, the car runs uncompromising and at 850ish. I can single-handedly guess that my supplementary rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much rule in the every other of rpm though? I think it isolated adjusts it going on for 1k..
bearing in mind I begin the car, the engine surges in the works surrounded by 1200 and 2000 rpm urge on and forth. I distorted the IAC and the TPS similar to no fiddle with in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to familiarize the idle readiness screw to subjugate the rpm and it would keep for a while. Now, the engine is at all times surging to the reduction where I cannot steer it for panic of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
