I have a 2004 ES330 following a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but as soon as I go roughly speaking turns upon onto highway ramps, considering I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon in the same way as the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried as a result far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. bearing in mind I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems good except that the TPS stays constant on 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model thus it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I take the TPS is integrated like the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know since I be next to you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started hurriedly after I got it home.Any further urge on you can have the funds for is appreciated. I don't know what else to attain but allow it back to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman functioning on it at the dealer, but I yet vibes its pushed to the support as its old-fashioned and everyone loses in this situation.
gone I begin the car, the engine surges in the works surrounded by 1200 and 2000 rpm help and forth. I untouched the IAC and the TPS later than no tweak in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to adapt the idle keenness screw to degrade the rpm and it would hold for a while. Now, the engine is forever surging to the lessening where I cannot steer it for radio alarm of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
