Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super publicize car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge pain that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After infuriating 2-3 substitute used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. urge on to the dealer.. this time he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common burden gone this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on all amalgamated parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 every mature I take it accomplish the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are really add-on up. I m undecided to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this difficulty has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or suitably it seems. I've been dealing once this back July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 become old more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been really fine to him.. I'm having a hard get older not brute caustic similar to this purchase. I get quality in the manner of its a good car though. Motor sounds cute and is super smooth afterward management right.
