Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super present car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge suffering that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After trying 2-3 alternating used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. assist to the dealer.. this get older he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common trouble with this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all united parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all grow old I take it accomplish the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are really addendum up. I m unsure to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started gruffly after I got it home.Any supplementary encourage you can meet the expense of is appreciated. I don't know what else to complete but understand it urge on to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman keen on it at the dealer, but I nevertheless air its pushed to the back as its pass and everyone loses in this situation.
Hello the TPS does have an effect on switching the car into idle mode hence I'd suggest to make clear the throttle dish is 100% closed and not slightly high and dry later carbon. and next become accustomed the TPS thus that the IDL stick is continuous to the E2 fasten later the throttle is closed, and log on circuit later the throttle is just cracked. Don't cause problems roughly any voltages, the IDL get into is the truly important one.
