This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any freshen dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and hence not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can also permit the engine to rev up next not desired causing sharp running. As its a mechanical malformation it tends not to aim on the oddity open and you can sometimes listen a hissing noise subsequently the engine running.
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this pain has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or so it seems. I've been dealing considering this in the past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 period more.My father owns an sc400 and its been in reality good to him.. I'm having a hard grow old not being sour gone this purchase. I complete quality past its a fine car though. Motor sounds lovable and is super smooth subsequent to giving out right.
gone I start the car, the engine surges going on between 1200 and 2000 rpm assist and forth. I distorted the IAC and the TPS afterward no alter in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to get used to the idle promptness screw to demean the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is constantly surging to the narrowing where I cannot drive it for panic of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
