I have a 2004 ES330 similar to a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but taking into consideration I go approximately turns upon onto highway ramps, as soon as I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon subsequently the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights twist on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. gone I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant roughly 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model so it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I acknowledge the TPS is integrated taking into account the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know since I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
Might with be worth checking the wiring and connector to the airflow meter for any signs of corrosion or damage. you can get a fast malformation find if you unplug the meter and direct the engine without it. if the engine condition is the same after that chances are the meter or the connection to it is faulty. Its after that worth cleaning the MAF sensor wires, as they can get coated considering dirt more than get older which then offsets the reading. Use some contact cleaner or brake cleaner to spray can onto the wires to cut off the dirt upon no account touch the wires bearing in mind all as they are very fragile
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. afterward the MAF is plugged in after that the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is along with an intermittent popping hermetically sealed coming at idle.
