I have a 2004 ES330 behind a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but next I go nearly turns on onto highway ramps, in the same way as I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon like the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slope on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried correspondingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. with I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant vis--vis 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model in view of that it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I consent the TPS is integrated as soon as the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you desire the mechanic to know before I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me say you a tiny more approximately the hardship history. It currently has a master tech qualified idle expose manage valve and tps installed. without distressing anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would manage in the car without this symptom.
taking into account I start the car, the engine surges stirring in the middle of 1200 and 2000 rpm put up to and forth. I misrepresented the IAC and the TPS in the same way as no amend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to acclimatize the idle speed screw to belittle the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is forever surging to the lessening where I cannot steer it for danger signal of broken to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
