Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super broadcast car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge misery that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After aggravating 2-3 swap used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. back to the dealer.. this era he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common suffering gone this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS need to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every linked parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all epoch I believe it do the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are really supplement up. I m in two minds to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started unexpectedly after I got it home.Any extra help you can meet the expense of is appreciated. I don't know what else to pull off but assume it urge on to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman enthusiastic on it at the dealer, but I nevertheless setting its pushed to the urge on as its dated and everyone loses in this situation.
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode thus I'd recommend to make sure the throttle dish is 100% closed and not slightly beached following carbon. and then accustom yourself the TPS for that reason that the IDL fix is continuous to the E2 fix in the same way as the throttle is closed, and gain access to circuit later the throttle is just cracked. Don't badly affect more or less any voltages, the IDL get into is the in reality important one.
